At the base of our body we have a complex yet fascinating array of muscles which together are called the Pelvic Floor. This area, part of our ‘core’ and also called our pelvic diaphragm, has an essential role to play in relation to our urinary organs, bowel control, sexual sensation & function, our reproductive health and even our breathing. It is also the source of our creative energy, our innate life force. As such it is the center of our health, well-being, flow and creativity.

However a range of physical and mental-emotional challenges can cause blockages in this important area. Long term stress, societal conditioning, traumas, sexual and reproductive problems, hormonal imbalances, emotional disturbances and other incidents in life which are shadowing our light, may leave an imprint in our pelvic area.

This can lead to stagnation and many issues such as chronic pain syndromes, impotence, prostate health problems, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, various sexual dysfunctions, difficulty emptying the bladder and bowel, and much more.

Intimacy and our sexual relations are critical components to a holistic and harmonious life. Issues in this area and the social taboo which surrounds it can hence greatly affect our overall quality of life.

This unique workshop, accessible for both women and men, explores pelvic floor physiology, increased awareness, proper relaxation and healthy toning practices.

We will learn to address disturbances imprinted in this area, and also how to connect and work more beneficially with our creative energy using gems of knowledge and practices from Yoga Therapy, Tibetan Tantra and from the ancient Taoist tradition. Allowing for a healthy flow of creative energy to arise from this center will bring more aliveness and deeper harmony into your life.
