Join us for a daily 1-hour guided Hridaya Meditation (in English). Except when we are closed for Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreats (see the calendar here), we practice every morning from 7:00-8:00 in Ramana Hall. Drop-in meditations are free and open to all!

Hridaya Meditation is a form of Self-Enquiry that uses the focus on the Heart Center and the awareness of the pauses in the breathing cycle to allow you to experience the radiance and peace of your True Nature, the Spiritual Heart.

Practicalities

  • Meditations start promptly at 7:00. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to prepare your space. Latecomers will not be allowed to join.
  • Hridaya Yoga France is a non-profit organization made up of its members. Payment of an annual membership fee of €10 is required to participate in drop-in meditations. You are welcome to join one meditation session before deciding if you want to become a member.
  • We provide meditation cushions. You are also welcome to bring your own.
  • We recommend you wear warm, loose, comfortable clothing.
  • If you don’t speak English, you are still very welcome to join us! The group setting will support your practice even if you don’t understand the words used to guide the meditation. If your English is not fluent, we recommend that you read the information about Hridaya Meditation found on this page before you attend your first session.
  • You may find that wearing earplugs helps you to focus inwards (we sell them in our Yogi Shop if you need them).
