Svara Yoga:

Pranayama of the Five Elements

A 2-Day Workshop with Simona Trandafir

March 31 – April 1, 2020

Presented in English

Sharing the Light of Prana through Conscious Breathing

Discover the harmony between yourself and the Universe

Join Simona Trandafir for an initiation in the science of Svara Yoga. Svara Yoga (the yoga of the “wave of life”) is a branch of Tantra and provides the key to using the breath in correlation with the five fundamental subtle energies (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether) in order to live in harmony with the rhythm of the Universe. This workshop explores the deeper levels of these energies, which are also presented in astrology.

You will learn the most beneficial times of the day to perform different kinds of activities and discover the most auspicious times to begin new projects, supporting their success by flowing in accordance with the wave of prana.

You will also receive an initiation that will open your eyes to which energy is predominant at any moment and enable you to use it to fulfill your goals, whatever they are. In this way, you will come to understand some of the secrets of the Universe…

All the pranayama techniques introduced in this workshop will be focused on awakening spanda, the Sacred Tremor of the Heart (atman), through the balancing of inner energies.

This workshop is presented in English.

“Those who have knowledge of the flow of the five Tattvas in the nostrils can very rapidly advance in meditation. There is an intimate connection between the mind and the five Tattvas. When Agni-Tattva flows through the nostrils, the mind is much agitated and meditation is interrupted. During the flow of the Akasha-Tattva, meditation is very favorable. A knowledge of ‘Svara-Sadhana,’ or ‘Svarodaya’ as it is popularly termed, is an indispensable necessity for those who take up meditation.”

–Swami Sivananda
